THE Wellington Primary Academy, which will open in September, is slowly rising to its full height.
The school, whose head teacher is Jo Andrews (formerly headteacher of Durrington Infants), will be part of the Wellington family of schools, which includes the Wellington Academy secondary school and its sponsor Wellington College in Berkshire.
The new school will serve the local community in the North East Quadrant and will open with a pure Reception class and mixed age classes through to Year 6. Applications for admission to the school can be made via Wiltshire Council’s website.
