THE recent solo exhibition by Andover artist Pip McGarry at The Frame Gallery in Odiham produced record six-figure sales, with ‘Watchful Eyes’ realising a top sale price of £36,000.
Several oil paintings were quick to sell during the twoweek exhibition – at the opening evening, a painting of a lioness and cub called Born Free, pictured, sold for £14,800.
Gallery owner Jan Baker said: “This was our most successful solo show to date by far and shows that with a strong marketing plan and beautiful work by a leading artist, the sales are still out there."
