A MEAT thief has been fined £200 for stealing three posh steaks from an Andover High Street store.
Lee John Oak, from Abbatt Close, Ludgershall, was slapped with the fine by Basingstoke Magistrates Court last week after pinching three fillet steaks worth £44.00 from Marks and Spencers on 29 June.
Oak was also in court for stealing two joints of pork, to the value of £12, from the Co-Op on Weyhill Road later that day.
Oak, who pleaded guilty to both charges, was fined £200 for the theft as well as being ordered to pay £44 and £12.13 in compensation to the respective stores.
