POLICE have released the results of initial investigations into this afternoon's 'bomb' drama in Enham Alamein.
At 2.55pm officers were called by a member of staff at the post office in Newbury Road who had located a suspicious package handed in for delivery.
Specially trained officers were deployed to the scene to assess the situation and officers have cordoned the location where the package has been placed. No roads have been closed as a result of the cordon.
An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Team has been deployed to the scene to assess the package, although from initial investigations the package is not deemed to be hazardous.
