AN ESSEX man has been fined £200 and ordered to pay court costs of £180 after being caught with foil lined bags in an Andover supermarket.
Daniel-Samuel Fierraru, of Winchester Road, Chingford, pleaded guilty to possessing bags in connection with theft at ASDA, Andover, on Wednesday 18 November.
The 20-year-old appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court the following day.
Alongside the fine and court costs, Fierraru was forced to pay £20 in victim surcharges and £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The foil lined bags were confiscated and destroyed.
