AN Olympic Park meat thief has been given a suspended prison sentence for handling stolen goods.
Stacie Rose Campbell pleaded guilty to handling a quantity of meat that she knew to be stolen from Marks and Spencer on an occasion in February when she appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court recently.
The 22-year-old also admitted to stealing a number of meat items from Co-op in Andover earlier this month during the same hearing.
Magistrates' sentenced Campbell to eight weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, for handling the stolen meat and fined her £60 for the Co-op theft.
She was also ordered to pay £20 Crown Prosecution costs.
