AN Andover man has being given a community order and will have to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work after breaching a restraining order by using Facebook.
Mark David Mead, of Levy Road, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court charged with breaching the order on December 25 2015 by contacting someone he had been prohibited to using the social media website.
The 42-year-old pleaded guilty for breaching the order which was put in place on 6 March 2015 by the court.
The court ordered that he participate in an accredited programme for 32 days, carry out 100 hours of unpaid work over 12 months, and pay £60.
