A LAUNCELOT Close man has been given a community order for assaulting a female in Andover and threatening violence to enter a premises.
Colin James Hughes admitted to the assault and use of violence during an incident in April when he appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court recently.
The 26-year-old has been given a community order requiring him to complete 100 hours of unpaid work and to participate in a rehabilitation activity along with a restraining order.
He was also ordered to pay £200 in compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 Crown Prosecution costs.
