A VESPASIAN Road man has been given a community order after assaulting two policemen in Andover.
Mark Richard Armer, whose address is listed as Vespasian Road, pleaded not guilty to assaulting the two police officers during an incident in the town in February but was found guilty during a trial at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court.
The 49-year-old was also found guilty of damaging a police cell at Basingstoke Police Station on the same date and to failing to attend Aldershot Magistrates' Court earlier this month.
Armer was sentenced to a community order requiring him to complete a rehabilitation activity and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £100 Crown Prosecution costs.
