POLICE have revealed that two expensive off-road motorbikes were stolen during a raid on a Shipton Bellinger garage last week.
As previously reported by the Advertiser, Hillside Garage was broken into between 9pm on Sunday 12 February and 7am on Monday 13 February.
Police previously declared that nothing had been stolen from the Salisbury road business during the raid.
However Hampshire Constabulary now say that neighbouring motorcycle garage, RS Racing, had two high value KTM bikes stolen in the same incident.
RS Racing garage owner, Reg Sheppard, has run the business from Shipton Bellinger for the last seven years.
The 45-year-old told the Advertiser: "It's absolutely devastating.
"I'm here trying to make an honest living like everyone should and some people think they can just come and take it from me.
"There really are some horrible horrible people out there."
