Teenager ordered to pay compensation after being found guilty of assault
A 16-year-old girl has been ordered to pay £250 compensation after being found guilty of assaulting another girl in Andover.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denied committing the assault during an incident in May last year but was found guilty following a trial in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court.
She was conditionally discharged for 12 months and ordered to pay £250 compensation.
No other costs orders were made due to lack of means.
