AN UNINSURED driver has been given six points on his licence and fined nearly £500.
David Butterworth pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Sherborne Road, Basingstoke without insurance on December 28 last year, when he appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court last month.
The 27-year-old, of Mooltan Barracks in Tidworth, was given six ponts on his driving licence and fined £498, including a £375 fine, victim services surcharge of £38 and costs of £85.
