TRAFFIC is being diverted after a closure was put in place following a serious road traffic collision this morning.
Police are had a report of a singly vehicle collision collision on the A303 eastbound, just east of the railway line, at 7.26am.
A full closure is in place at the top of the Hundred Acre roundabout on to the A303 eastbound, and this is likely to remain in place for some time while emergency services conduct enquiries at the scene.
Traffic is being diverted into Andover, which may cause significant disruption for morning commuters, so we would advise seeking an alternative route while the road remains closed.
