A SCHOOL science fair is extending an invitation to the community to participate in experiments and activities.
The Wellington Academy Science Fair is an annual event held during British Science Week on Wednesday, 14 March from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. The school is opening its doors to the community to enjoy activities that young people and their families can get involved in.
These include a dissection lab and making slime and bouncy balls.
There will also be two travelling animal shows doing interactive displays involving reptiles, invertebrates and mammals.
Competitions will be running for young people to compete in, with opportunities to win prizes.
Alongside all these activities, there will also be science projects from local primary schools and the academy on display, being judged in multiple categories.
