A PENSIONER has died three days after he was involved in a crash with a van.
The 86-year-old died in Southampton General Hospital yesterday, following the crash on Wednesday (March 14).
Police say the man, from Andover, was driving a silver Vauxhall Meriva at the time of the crash.
He was at the junction of the A272 and A30 at Hill Farm Cross, near Sutton Scotney, when he collided with a Mercedes Sprinter van.
The crash happened at 1.12pm.
The driver of the Mercedes Sprinter van, a 25-year-old man from Berkhampstead, Hertfordshire, was not injured in the collision.
An investigation has begun and police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, including anyone with any dashcam footage.
