CROWDS descended on Wherwell for the village’s traditional English street fete.
The annual fair took place on Saturday with entertainment for all the family.
Throughout the day stalls lined Church Street selling crafts, drinks and food to create the traditional fete atmosphere.
There was also games for young and old to enjoy, from traditional games such as Splat the Rat to air rifle shooting, along with a tombola, raffles, and a bouncy castle.
Visitors enjoyed a Pimm’s tent, barbecue, cakes and tea.
The local pre-school also held an exhibition in the church of St Peter and Holy Cross.
