TWO charities that support individuals with learning difficulties joined forces for a wintery fundraiser.
Andover and District Mencap partnered with James’s Place to host a Winter Ball on Friday, November 2, raising a total of £1000.
On arrival at James's Place, each guest received a complimentary drink including mulled wine. Catering pupil's from Winton School served guest, with buffet food from Andover Buffets.
Throughout the evening music was performed by Glen Wright, Alex Krupa, Chris Berntsen and Laura Shears.
A live auction was held and prizes included signed football shirts and a signed football from Southampton and Bournemouth football clubs.
Andover and District Mencap CEO Chris Dixon said: "We were keen to work with James's Place. We are two charities who work with people with learning disabilities. We wanted to create an event everyone would enjoy."
