AN ANDOVER petrol station was closed this morning after a fuel spillage.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident at Tesco Extra petrol station, in River Way, at 8.38am today (December 14).
Firefighters from Andover station cordoned off the area after around 20 litres of fuel had leaked from a vehicle.
The crew used sand and soil to clear up the fuel, along with Environment Agency equipment.
The vehicle was also removed from the scene.
Firefighters returned to their station at 9am and the petrol station is now understood to be open.
