A 72-YEAR-OLD man was assaulted on a bus in Bulford last night (Thursday).

The X4 bus had stopped on the High Street at about 10.40pm, when the man was assaulted by a man and woman, both believed to be about 18, after a loud argument had taken place.

The man was not seriously injured but was left with swelling to his face and cuts on his hand.

The first suspect is described as female, aged approximately 18, of slim build, with plaited blonde hair and wearing light coloured jeans.

The second suspect is described as male, aged 18, approximately 6 ft tall and of slim build. He was wearing a beige coloured hooded top.

PC Kieran Leibrick said: “We are really keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the disturbance and the subsequent assault on this man.

“We are also keen to speak with the driver of a silver car who was flagged down by the victim and had a brief conversation with the suspects and the victim following the incident.
