AN ABBOTTS Ann pub has reopened its doors following a major refurbishment.

The Poplar Farm Inn, in Old Salisbury Road, has undergone an overhaul both inside and out to bring a “beautiful new look”.

Adrian Denney, landlord of The Poplar Farm, said: “We wanted the new look to provide guests with a cosy pub where they can enjoy dinner, have a few drinks after their busy day or simply to relax with their four-legged friends and read the Sunday paper.

“The Poplar Farm is in a fantastic location in the Andover countryside, and we have an amazing support network around us, so we hope that all of our guests, both regulars and first-timers love the transformation.”

Visitors to The Poplar Farm Inn can enjoy the pub throughout the year, whether they’re relaxing in front of its roaring fires in winter or making the most of the long summer nights.

They can also sample the “amazing selection of gins, ales and wines on offer” behind the bar and try out some of the freshly prepared British dishes from the new menu, and The Poplar Farm Inn says that it hopes that the “new look is a welcome change in Andover”.

The pub, part of the Vintage Inns collection, added that it “oozes rural charm and rustic character with the picturesque surroundings providing the perfect backdrop for savouring its new menu, which it hopes will excite guests and encourage them to while away many hours in their cosy surroundings.”
