A TASTY treat was served up for users of a community project.
Andover Buffaloes hosted a get-together for those that use The Bridge, ran by Valley Church.
Held at the Town Mills on Sunday, members of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, or ‘The Buffs for short,’ were on hand to give service users of the project a complimentary post-Christmas feast.
Around 20 people enjoyed the two-course dinner, free of charge.
Fraternal member of the Buffs Terry Fluen said: “This is what being a Buffalo is all about, helping members of our local community.”
Mr Fluen went onto offer his thanks to the staff at Town Mills who donated their time and provided the venue for the event.
There was also applause for various catering suppliers, many of whom had donated produce free.
Mr Fluen also mentioned that The Bridge project had kindly offered an area in their Bridge Street building to the Buffs for a Lodge open day between 10am and noon on February 23 and the Buffs will be on hand to answer questions.
