A TEAM offering a chance to footballers who cannot play in mainstream clubs has received a boost.
Streets Ahead has received a donation of £215 towards new kit for one of its teams and size three balls for its youngest players, courtesy of the Jamie G Sporting Trust.
Jacqui Gentleman and trust treasurer Vera Morgan presented the cheque at a Streets Ahead training session.
The Jamie G Trust was established in 2009 in memory of young Andover sportsman, Jamie Gentleman, who died just days before his 14th birthday.
It provides funding for sport activities for young people.
Streets Ahead provides football experiences for anyone who is unable to play in a mainstream team and welcomes anyone.
Sessions are held every week at Harrow Way School. For more information, contact Sue Simmonds on 01264 350420 or 07821964785
