STUDENTS were full of excitement as Winton Community Academy continued its successful skiing trip for another year.
The group returned to Austria to allow pupils to show off their skills.
On the last day of term students from Year 7 and Year 8 hit the slopes at the ski resort in Gaschurn.
Most of the students had never skied before, but were enthusiastic to learn, with teachers saying all those who took part had made progress with picking up the skills.
By the end of the week all the students were skiing down the mountains with confidence.
Maths teacher Andy Head said: “It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to experience the thrill of skiing in a beautiful part of the world with breath taking scenery.
“The students all had a wonderful time and the experience would have left them with memories that will last a lifetime.”
