AN OVER Wallop vet nurse assistant is still on the search for love after a TV show failed to find her the perfect match.

Sarah Gold appeared on the latest series of Channel 5’s Blind Date in the hope of finding her ideal partner.

The part-time model and actress was up against two other woman — but their blind date had to know more about the trio before making up his mind.

And in true Blind Date-style three questions asked were cheesy, and a bit saucy, to make the audience laugh.

After hearing the answers Sarah was picked out of the three contestants by Matt, from Sandhurst, Berkshire, to go on the final date.

“It was luck, I didn’t think I would get picked, it was quite a confidence boost as I have not had much luck with men over the last few years,” the 34-year-old said.

As the screen went back, the pair seemed happy with their match before Sarah chose a golden envelope which revealed that they would be jetting off to Finland.

“It was absolutely lovely there, the temperature was -32 degrees, it was quite bearable as it was so different to the cold here.”

And the chill in the air continued on the date as the pair felt they were mismatched, with an eight-year age gap proving too much.

But this has not put Sarah off finding love and even appearing on another dating show.

She said: “I would go on First Dates or something like that, I am genuinely looking for someone.”

Following the show Sarah has been contacted by a number of prospective suitors, but she has yet to find her Prince Charming.
