A THIEF who stole a charity tin collecting money to help sick children has been fined.
Samantha North, of Anton Road, Andover, stole the box belonging to Great Ormond Street, while she was in in Basingstoke, on January 18.
At Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Monday last week, the 31-year-old admitted to the offence.
She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £24 compensation. She must also pay £25 court costs and £30 victim surcharge.
