AN ANDOVER man caught behind the wheel while over the drink drive limit has been disqualified.
Robin Cranston, of Halter Way, was stopped on the M3 on April 30 driving a Volkswagen Golf.
A blood test revealed he had 137 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood — the legal limit is 80.
At Basingstoke Magistrates Court on June 20, 28-year-old Cranston pleaded guilty to drink driving.
Cranston was banned from driving for 36 months and fined £684. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £68 victim surcharge.
