A WELL-KNOWN face in Whitchurch and Overton will swap presenting for the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom.
Sports broadcaster Mike Bushell was announced last week as one the 15 celebrities to compete to win the Glitter Ball.
The sports presenter is a familiar face to BBC Breakfast viewers as he presents its main sports bulletins.
He said of his forthcoming Strictly stint: "I know I will completely throw myself into the whole experience and I'm sure will love it from start to finish.
"I may have tried and profiled over 500 sports over the years in my Saturday morning BBC Breakfast slot but think the Strictly challenge could be the greatest. Bring on the glitter!"
Last year he made headlines when he fell into a swimming pool during a live interview on BBC Breakfast.
More recently he cut the ribbon on the Overton village swimming pool and took part in the village’s wheelbarrow race.
He joins rower James Cracknell, former football stars Alex Scott and David James, Made In Chelsea's Jamie Laing, RuPaul's Drag Race star Michelle Visage, Paralympic champion Will Bayley and ex-Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley.
