THE weather just about held out as families and friends gathered for the St Michaels and All Angels fete last weekend.
Plans were in place to hold the fete indoors if the weather did take a turn for the worse but those in attendance were able to enjoy the action in the grounds of the church on Colebrook Way.
The day featured a a selection of stalls selling bric-a-brac, books, toys and more, plus games, a tombola and displays by local groups.
Guests tried their hand at a game of hoopla while others attempted to hit the bullseye on the makeshift archery range.
There was also a bouncy castle and face painting on offer, as well as a barbecue, teas and homemade cakes.
Jeremy Simmonds, who was named Andover Community Champion at the Pride of Andover Awards 2018, was also in attendance to open the fete.
