THE members of Whitchurch WI donned their party hats for the group’s tenth anniversary celebrations at the Gill Nethercott Centre earlier this month.
Attendees had been challenged to make a party hat to wear on the evening, with Margaret Richardson winning the ‘top hat’ prize.
During the event there was also plenty of time for games, reminiscing, prosecco and cake made by Beryl Tomlinson.
Plus, each of the members was presented with a canvas bag, which Sarah Bone had arranged to have specially printed to commemorate the occasion.
Whitchurch WI meets on the third Thursday of every month at the Gill Nethercott Centre.
Doors open at 7.15pm for tea, coffee and a chat before the speaker or activity.
