HEAVY traffic remains after a three-vehicle crash on a B-road near Andover left oil on the road.
The incident took place this morning on the A343, near the Ashmansworth junction. Both the northbound and southbound lanes were said to be affected.
Hampshire Constabulary says it was initially called at 7.36am this morning to an incident involving three vehicles, with those involved sustaining minor injuries. Oil was also left on the road.
Police remained on the scene before handing over to Highways officers.
Witnesses on social media had previously reported lengthy delays and heavy traffic.
Just after 1pm, one person commented: "Road still closed. But people are ignoring the sign in Hurstbourne Tarrant and still trying to get through. Road traffic from Newbury is at standstill."
