Police are urgently appealing for the help of the public to trace the driver of a Jaguar XJ who they believe was involved in a fatal crash.
Last night, a 38-year-old man was killed when he was hit by a car on Charlton Road.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, shortly after 7.30pm. The driver of the vehicle did not stop.
Andover Police are now searching for the motorist of a Jaguar XJ which they believe was involved.
The colour or model of the car is not known though officers say to look out for any damage sustained to the vehicle as a tell.
A spokesman for the force said: "Officers investigating the collision urgently want to speak to the driver of a Jaguar XJ which they believe was involved.
"Do you have a dash cam which may have captured this vehicle in the area around 6.40pm last night? Maybe you have seen a damaged Jaguar XJ?
"Anyone with information can call 101, quoting 44190460421. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
