A MAN has been fined £1,000 after being caught driving at more than 100mph on the A303 near Andover.
Michael Webb, of Pewsey, Wiltshire, last week admitted the charge, which dates back to September 2, last year.
He had been clocked driving at 105mph on the dual-carriageway, at Parkhouse Cross, between Shipton Bellinger and Cholderton.
The 38-year-old pleaded guilty via single justice procedure and was fined £1,000 for the offence.
He was also given six points on his driving licence, and made to pay a £100 victim surcharge and £85 in costs, taking his total bill to £1,185.
