With the NHS very much in the headlines recently, as they continue their fight against Covid-19 to keep us all safe, would it not be right and proper that when this is all over that we, as a nation, continue to recognize their efforts by awarding them each a medal?
A small token in the scheme of things I know, but in times of war, which most would I think rightly agree we are in, awards are given out for gallantry.
And haven't they time and again shown us that they are willing to do their duty in the face of possible death without a care for themselves?
I wish we could do more, but this would give them much pride from a nation that appreciates them.
