Fire crews attended an address in Rampton Road, Whitchurch this morning
FIRE crews attended a Whitchurch address this morning after a report of a washing machine fire.
Firefighters from Andover and Sutton Scotney attended the scene at an address in Rampton Road, Whitchurch, at 11.31am.
They had been responding to a call regarding a washing machine fire, but on arrival crews determined that the appliance had simply overheated.
Crews carried out an inspection only before leaving the scene.
