GOOD morning, hope your week has been good, mine certainly has been, but then I live in Andover surrounded by picturesque villages in the north of the borough.

Andover boasts a cinema, theatre, sports centre, bowling alley, nature reserves, parks, library, citizen advice bureau, doctors surgeries, dentists, medical centres, fire station, police station, markets twice a week, and regular farmers markets. Churches cater for all faiths, bus station, rail station, excellent taxi services and we are never further than two minutes’ drive from the bypass, which links to the A303.

Our town has the river Anton meandering its way through the centre, with purpose built riverside walks to Asda and beyond.

TVBC leader, Cllr Phil North is proactive in cultivating the café culture. So wherever you go, there will be patrons enjoying the sunshine, free wifi and the flowering plants dangling from lamp posts or displayed on the railings throughout our town.

Pupils of all ages are catered for by schools, nurseries, and the college.

Whilst the younger folk benefit from a thriving night economy supported by bars, night clubs, take away facilities and restaurants. Numerous estate agents are testimony to how many would love to reside here.
