As the Christmas break comes to an end, these Andover primary schools will remain closed today.
Norman Gate School on Vigo Road held an emergency inset day today, January 4.
On the school's website it states: "Due to staff shortages causing health and safety issues School will be closed on Monday 4th January for an Emergency Inset Day."
Pupils are due to return on January 5.
A second school also announced a closure from today for certain year groups.
Staff at Roman Way have confirmed that from today Reception and Years 1-3 will be taught remotely.
Years 4, 5 and 6 should continue attend school normal.
The school added that no fines will be issued this week, but parents are asked to notify the school if they intend to keep children at home.
Headteacher Ms Jones has apologised for the inconvenience and says the decision to keep some year groups at home will be reviewed on Friday.
