Wiltshire Police have appealed for witnesses after a hit and run on a cyclist near Tidworth.
A 19-year-old man was hit by a car around midday on Wednesday, January 27, while heading towards Tidworth on Tidworth Road.
The car failed to stop, and police have now launched an appeal to find those who may be able to assist with their investigation.
The incident occurred earlier this week, when a 19-year-old male cyclist was heading towards Tidworth on his bike.
At around 12:25pm, at a sharp left bend, he was struck by a silver saloon-type car which was driving in the direction of Tidworth. It did not stop at the scene.
The cyclist was knocked from his bike, suffering head, knee and foot injuries, and was taken to hospital. Fortunately, his injuries are not life-changing or life-threatening.
PC Danila, from the Amesbury Area Community Policing Team, said: "We are appealing for any witnesses who saw either the cyclist or this car immediately before or after the collision happened.
"We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was driving along the road around the time and may have dash cam footage which could assist with our enquiries."
