Two men have been caught red handed after being caught during a break in of industrial premises near Barton Stacey.
A 52-year-old man and a 59-year-old man were arrested at the scene after police were called to the scene at 10:39pm on April 21. The two men, both from Loughton in Essex, were attempting to break into premises at the Enviro Park, near the A303.
Officers have arrested both men on suspicion of burglary, and they remain in custody at the time of writing.
The Enviro Park is home to a variety of industries, including those which separate recyclable materials from household waste in order to reuse them.
The site was to be home to a controversial incinerator, but the company behind the plans withdrew them following strong opposition from residents and politicians.
