Andover woman admits assaulting volunteer police officer
AN ANDOVER woman has admitted assaulting a volunteer police officer.
Shelley Heal, of Leigh Road, pleaded guilty to the assault of Special Constable Jonathan Tippell on March 8.
She also admitted obstructing PC Penn in executing his duties and of drink driving, after she was found to be more than double the limit on New Street.
Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court last Thursday (April 22), the 43-year-old’s case was adjourned whilst a pre-sentence report is made.
She has been remanded on unconditional bail before next appearing at the same court on May 26 for sentencing.
