In light of the tragic news that two women and one man lost their lives on the A303 on Wednesday, we have set up a virtual book of condolences to pay tribute to them.

Three people, all from separate vehicles, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their families have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

One of the persons killed in the collision was Tom who was an employee of Avery Recovery, a breakdown and recovery service based in Southampton and Salisbury.

The firm shared on its social media channels on Thursday that one of its employees, a 'truly exceptional' man, had been involved in the incident.

The post read: "It is with utmost sadness that we confirm the tragic loss of a staff member whilst on duty yesterday.

"Tom was a highly valued colleague and friend and brought a smile and sunshine to everyone he met. He loved his job and helping people and was a truly exceptional person. It was an honour to have known him and have had him as part of the Avery family.

"Needless to say, the entire team are devastated but our immediate thoughts are with his wife and family and all those directly affected by the incident."

The company thanked its customers for its messages of support.

Family, friends and members of the community can leave below their tributes and condolences or share memories of the three persons who sadly lost their lives in the collision.
