A MUM-OF-TWO from Hurstbourne Tarrant has spent weeks crafting a beautiful post box topper commemorating Sir Captain Tom and all fallen soldiers in time for Remembrance Day.
Speaking to the Advertiser, Rachel Curd said the crochet project was a “labour of love”, adding: “I decided to do it as yarn bombing is becoming very popular and wanted to give it a go hoping to make people smile when they saw it.”
The 37-year-old’s creation is now on display on the postbox next to the rural business hub in Hurstbourne Tarrant.
