IN A BIG surprise for the staff at a business park in Andover, an F3 cup winning car turned up in front of their offices in South Way last week.
The racing car of University of Wolverhampton team vroomed into the driveway of Walworth Business Park to give a surprise to the employees at the industrial hub.
Andover manufacturer, Evolution Measurement, one of the companies at Walworth Business Park, sponsors a number of University racing teams with the support of their miniature pressure scanner, including the team at University of Wolverhampton, who experienced unprecedented success in the Formula 3 cup this year.
To show their gratitude to their sponsors, the Wolverhampton team took the winning car on a tour of their sponsors, landing in Andover on a cold but sunny afternoon.
Evolution Measurement managing director, Paul Crowhurst said, "It was really great for the whole team to see the car.
“We work hard, producing the pressure scanners, which are used in the aerodynamic testing process, which ultimately helps the car perform better on the track. And that's exactly what's happened at UWR racing and we are pleased to be a part of it.
“Neighbours on Walworth Business Park were invited to come see the car in all its glory and refreshments were provided courtesy of a barista coffee trike.”
