A WILTSHIRE woman has been made to pay more than £100 for dropping a McDonald’s Happy Meal box on the ground in Andover.
Tracey Parsons, of Ramleaze Drive, Salisbury, threw down, dropped or deposited the litter in Churchill Retail Park in Andover during a visit to the town on June 7 last year.
The court was told that Section 87 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 applied to the location.
West Hampshire magistrates proved the case in her absence as she failed to turn up in court for the case brought by Test Valley Borough Council.
She was told to pay court costs of £100 and £34 to fund victim services.
