A mixed bag of ingredients are on the weather menu during the forecast period as both high and low pressure systems battle for pole position on meteorological charts.
In short, for north Hampshire this means settled conditions at times interspersed with the threat of showery bursts of rain or possibly sleet on the coldest days.
However, generally our patch should see plenty of dry weather in the week ahead with some sunshine and cloud at times.
Temperatures are likely to be above and below average at times.
Overnight frosts are possible in any cold weather that develops but in general most nights will be frost-free.
Mist and fog patches cannot be ruled out though.
