AN ANDOVER man accused of setting fire to his home has had his case sent to crown court.
Mwamba Munkonge, 30, of Alder Road in Andover appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday, January 31), accused of arson on January 29.
Police attended the scene as they responded to reports of a fire at an address.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said officers had received an allegation that a woman was assaulted at the location by a man known to her.
District Judge Tim Pattinson decided that the case should be heard at Winchester Crown Court on March 2 2022.
Munkonge has been remanded in custody.
