Police have issued an update on the potential whereabouts of a woman who has been missing for nearly a month.

Hayley Seymour, 53, was last seen at Parklands Hospital, Basingstoke, on January 29.

She failed to return when she went out for a couple of hours' unescorted leave and police are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety.

Posters of Hayley have been placed around Winchester, where officers formerly believed she may have been.

However, while they confirmed she is still currently missing, police now suspect she could be in the Ringwood area.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Police, said: "We can confirm that Hayley is still missing and police enquiries remain ongoing to locate her. Officers believe that she may now be in the Ringwood area.

"If anyone has seen Hayley, or has any further information about her whereabouts, please contact us by calling 101 and quoting 4422003974."

Hayley, who isn't thought to have had her medication with her at the time of her dissapearance, is described as white, 5ft 8in, medium build, with bronze/gold coloured hair.

She was last seen wearing a black patterned skirt, a cream cardigan, a cream top and blue boots. She may be pushing a trolley.

More images of Hayley have been released following the initial CCTV still originally issued by police.

A police spokesperson said: “These photos are a number of years old but are the clearest images we currently have of Hayley.

“We have previously released a CCTV image of Hayley which, whilst not great quality, shows the clothes she was wearing the day she disappeared."

Anyone with information can call Hampshire police on 101, quoting reference number 44220039747.
