A broken down bus caused delays on the A31 throughout this morning as teams worked to recover the stranded vehicle.
Stagecoach was forced to cancel the 9.45am 64 service from Alton to Winchester due to the breakdown, having initially announced it would only be delayed by 25 minutes while a replacement vehicle was found.
Cones were placed around the bus, which became stranded on the stretch of the highway by Four Marks, and queues quickly built up as drivers struggled to pass.
A specialist recovery lorry managed to hitch up the bus shortly before 1pm and it has since been town away.
