AN ANDOVER man who failed to comply with the requirements of his post-custodial supervision has been sent back to prison.

Terrance Mark Day, of Welling Court, failed to attend a planned appointment with his supervisor on February 28.

At West Hampshire Magistrates’ Court, in Southampton, the 30-year-old admitted the breach and was sent back to prison for seven days.

He was originally sentenced to 167 days in prison during a hearing at Southampton Crown Court on August 16, last year, for battery, two counts of criminal damage, breach of a suspended sentence order, malicious communication, and a public order offence.

Further details of the offences were not given on the court record.
