THE grieving brother of a dad-of-one whose death sparked a murder investigation has said his family want to know "what really happened".

Tesco worker Slawomir Turek, 43, died on Wednesday with police called to Mansel Road West in Millbrook, Southampton at around 6.11am.

Officers arrested a 49-year-old woman from Southampton on suspicion of murder but have released her under investigation. The cause of death has not yet been determined.

Slawomir's brother Andrzej Turek said: "The family want to know what really happened.

"Who was the person who took our brother, father and son?"

He has asked anyone with information to come forward to police.

"Anyone who has any information about his life... and how he was, should go to the police and talk to the police about him, about his life," Andrzej said.

"The information from other people will help make the investigation bigger."

Paying tribute to his sibling, he added: "He was a lovely father, son and brother - and especially father to his daughter.

As reported, officers are appealing for information after releasing the woman from custody.
