A SPECTACULAR gathering of cars, motorcycles and aircraft, to please enthusiasts of all ages, will assemble at a festival this summer.

The festival will take place in Middle Wallop at the Army Flying Museum and the airfield at the Army Air Corps Centre.

Wallop Wheels and Wings, will impress all on Saturday, July 2, when it will bring together 400 super and classic cars and bikes, as well as 50 classic aircraft.

The military and civilian sites will also feature a whole range of other attractions including a kid's zone, event village with local traders, live music, beer tent and a food court.

 Daisy Bradley, event organiser, said: “Following the success of last year, we are really excited to be able to welcome everyone to the second Wallop Wheels and Wings event, and the team here are working hard to make sure that it's going to be a great day out for families and enthusiasts alike.

“We have a few surprises lined up for the day and, also, entertainment for all ages.

“There are only a limited number of tickets available, so it will be a case of first come first served.”

This year's event welcomes, amongst others, the Hampshire Fare Roadshow, Hop Back Brewery and an exhibition from the Guild of Aviation Artists.

More than 150 classic and super cars have already registered to exhibit at the event including a number of car clubs, which will impress residents who do decide to come along to enjoy all the festival has to offer.

These so far include the Ferrari Owner’s Club, the Jaguar Owner’s Club, the Aston Martin Owner’s Club, the Porsche Club GB, the Austin Healey Club, and many more.

A full programme of entertainment will also run throughout the day so there will be something for everyone to enjoy, this will include the Concours D’Elegance, which will see a display of all the best vintage cars in show.

Tickets are currently on a special early bird rate until the end of the month, so book before April 30 to secure your discounted rate.
